Michael J. Franceski, PE, BA
Michael J. Franceski is a graduate of the Penn State University obtaining degrees in Architecture Engineering and Civil Engineering and Building Technology. EBS Engineering & Building Science, LLC was established in 2006 to develop into a full service Building Design and Energy Performance Company. The company is listed with the Better Business Bureau. Prior to the development of EBS Engineering & Building Science, LLC, Michael’s experience in construction and engineering involved 17 years as an employee with a structural and forensic engineering consulting firm and 13 years as an associate with the Franceski Lumber Company. The Franceski Lumber Company is a family business that was established in 1913 and is still in existence today.
Michael takes his 30 years experience in residential and light Commercial construction to every client. “We want all our clients to feel confident their problems and questions will be taken seriously and addressed intelligently”. Michael’s strengths evolve from having both office design and more importantly in-field experience in design, construction and project management.
Michael is a member of the Roof Consultant Institute, RCI and a certified Building Analyst for the Building Performance Institute, BPI. He specializes in all types of roof designs stemming from low slope, (Flat Roofs), steep slope and garden roof systems. Michael’s architectural building knowledge allows him to perform various testing and building investigations needed to identify problems and make effective repair recommendations.
Michael is also a part time certified instructor teaching energy auditing and building diagnostic classes under the Pennsylvania Weatherization Assistance Program, PAWAP.
